Celebrate What God is Doing

Celebrate What God is Doing…and join Him in His work!

Oh what a celebration we had during the first weekend of March! The global family of Haggai International came together to rejoice and thank God for what He has done, and continues to do, through your partnership with Haggai leaders across the globe.

(Name withheld for security), leading the National Ministry in Iraq, shared how God opened doors to bring 12 denominational leaders from the churches in her nation together to be equipped in more effectively reaching their people with the Gospel. This is a miracle in itself – denominations don’t readily cooperate on anything! Subsequently, they are collaborating and cooperating in equipping members from their own congregations, as well as starting up a Haggai association in southern Iraq.

Manoj, who describes himself as a bulldozer for God, is defending religious freedom in India as a Supreme Court lawyer. He told us, “The mandate is to preach the Gospel. No law can come in between; I will bulldoze it!”

Ong Hock Siew reaches remote people in Malaysia, demonstrating the love of Jesus through providing education and addressing other physical and social needs, while proclaiming the Gospel. He also touches many through his business relationships, professional organizations, and civic involvement.

We are blessed that Hock Siew agreed to serve on the Haggai International Board of Trustees and was elected to the board during our annual meeting.

The work of Haggai International continues to stand on the Great Commission of Jesus- His last command before He ascended to the Father.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

While the word in this verse is rendered as “go,” it is better translated as “going,” in alignment with the other two directives of”baptizing” and “teaching”

Jesus absolutely was giving a command to us that called us to focused, intentional action, that “as we are going,” “as we are on our journey through life” in the professions to which we have been called, with those whom we know – all along the way, MAKE HIM KNOWN! That is exactly what our Haggai leaders are doing! They are making Jesus known – offering true life, now and for eternity, to those who say “yes” to Him.

Thank you for being life-giving partners! Your generosity makes it possible for leaders to be equipped for the work of the Gospel.

For the Gospel!
