Forever Loved, Forever Forgiven.

The first stanza of the iconic hymn, “Amazing Grace,” says:

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I’m found
Was blind but now I see.

For a believer in Jesus, this becomes their mantra. Their truth. And Haggai leader Ruby Chuaunsu knows this better than anyone.

Fifteen years ago, her husband fell 750 feet into a ravine. She found herself crying out loud and asking the Lord to heal her husband, but also her marriage and her family. This was a clear turning point for her: Ruby committed herself to the Lord and to His service after this life-altering experience.

Her husband and their three children have been participants in church outreaches to their city in the Philippines. Her husband serves as an usher in church every Sunday and, since the pandemic, as a board member of a nonprofit Christian hospital. Ruby has her own women’s group called Women of Strength and Courage.

“We want all people who we have ever met to know the love and salvation of Jesus. We want this love that we share to transform them for eternity.”

God heals and restores.

“I am drawn to share Jesus with the lost. So many people still need Him. I want them to see and experience what happened to me. Lost but now found by Jesus.”

This includes Ruby’s extended family, as she deeply desires for them to say “yes” to Jesus and to worship Him alone. “I value relationships, especially with my family, more than anything else in this world. And when my children hurt, I hurt. When my husband has a bad day, I try to empathize with him. We are a team, and I want us to always serve the Lord as a team.”

A registered nurse who has been in the life insurance business for the last 30 years, Ruby has seen the Lord give her a new platform from which to share His amazing grace. “Through the Million Dollar Round Table Organization, I have been able to speak with people from different countries. This is my outreach — my team at Manulife Philippines, my company, and now, others all across the globe. My involvement in this worldwide organization draws me to share Jesus with the lost.

“The gift is from Him. I am His. Apart from the Lord, I am nothing. My life and the life I live now is for Jesus. I always share His grace. Forever loved. Forever forgiven.”
