Gospel Partnerships

Collaborative and specific impact.

TOGETHER WE INCREASE IMPACT

Haggai’s Gospel Partnerships are holistic, unified efforts with ministry partners that target Gospel-centered and nation-specific opportunities. In collaboration with National Associations and indigenous ministries, Global Partnerships focus on four imperatives for success: the work must be focused, collaborative, resourced, and nationally led.

Gospel Partnerships require a unifying vision, collaborative ministries, and Kingdom-flourishing goals. These partnerships are grounded in guiding principles that include decentralized governance, established resources, context-specific strategies, local planning and development, and evidence-based outcomes.

In 2019, Haggai launched a Global Partnership initiative in Mongolia—a nation bordered by global superpowers China and Russia, with limited access to the Gospel. Of Mongolia’s 3.4 million people, 51% have never heard or responded to the Gospel. The country presents unique challenges for Western missionaries due to its remote geography, cultural distinctions, and linguistic diversity across 21 provinces.

Recognizing this strategic opportunity, Haggai partnered with the Mongolian Evangelical Alliance (MEA) to strengthen collaboration and unity within MEA and to foster Gospel-centered initiatives across the nation.

Leading the initiative on the ground are Haggai Leaders Dr. Amarsaikhan (Amar) Bazar and Dr. Zolzaya (Zola) Baljinnyam. Together, they cast a unified vision that empowers ministry organizations to fulfill their unique callings while coordinating holistic Gospel efforts to bring restoration to Mongolia.

To date, Gospel Partnerships in Mongolia have addressed physical needs in underserved areas, equipped marketplace and ministry leaders, trained pastors in business acumen, distributed Bibles, and planted sustainable churches. Notably, the majority of funding for these collaborative initiatives has come from Mongolian churches and NGOs.
