Blazing Trails

Founded in 2012, Faith Ablaze International Ministries (FAIM) partners with local churches, fellowships, and individuals all over the world to bring the Good News to those who have never heard it. Through digital discipleship, mission trips, equipping courses, life-coaching, Bible study, and social media, they work to equip future spiritual leaders all over the world.

Its founder, Dr. Rachel, a noted public speaker, Haggai International facilitator, life coach, Army and Navy veteran in her origin country, and the author of Unashamed Servant-Leadership, believes in the motto, “lead by example.” It’s something she learned from her stint in her country’s armed forces: that you can’t ask your team to do something or go somewhere that you aren’t willing to do or go yourself. She mirrors this in her ministry, hands and feet first, laying the groundwork for her teams in various nations to carry out the mission of God through FAIM. With some in restricted countries and others in extremely poor areas, her steadfast faith has been the resource to yield great results toward God’s Kingdom.

Dr. Rachel prayed for the local Honduran policemen.

Her team spent an entire year in prayer for an opportunity in the Middle East. Last December, a door finally opened. They were able to mobilize and make Christmas gifts for the entire staff of a university there, sharing fun treats and a meaningful verse (John 3:16).

“The giving of Christmas gifts had never been done in the university’s history, but God did more than that. He allowed the team to bless a Filipino staff with an accurate, prophetic prayer that was well-received with tears,” said Dr. Rachel. “The team continued to share and pray with locals and internationals at the only music academy in the nation. Our ministries are not limited to the occasional outreach. This same team makes disciples, leads prayer meetings, leads worship, manages one of our social media platforms, attends to technical issues related to our zoom seminars and classes as well as supports me to fulfill the vision that God has given me.”

In Honduras, fellow Haggai leaders continued with a Spanish-language Facebook page which Dr. Rachel began in 2017. This page is dedicated to encouraging the locals and has reached 4.5 million Hondurans. The success of that page has led to various other outreach programs in their native language in various parts of Honduras and the translation of FAIM discipleship courses.

“Reaching out to others wherever God sends us is in our DNA,” she said. “It has been for many years, but it was after the Haggai Leader Experience in 2017 that my Kingdom dream got larger. I have seen the fruits of the thought process that embraced Dr. John Haggai’s ‘Attempt something so impossible that if God is not in it, it is doomed to failure.’”

Since then, Dr. Rachel and her team have brought more than 250 people to saving faith in Christ, equipped more than 2,000 pastors and leaders worldwide, reached more than 11,000 people with the Word through pulpit and outreach ministries, and shared God’s truth with millions via Facebook and across Africa through radio preaching. And the reward? Simply “imagining the royal dancing that follows in Heaven after each decision.”
