Mixing Business with Faith: Daniel’s Leadership in Colombia.
The Haggai Leader Experience (HLE) is a transformational journey that equips leaders worldwide to advance the Gospel in their own spheres of influence. Participants return home to apply biblical principles to leadership, cultivate integrity, and create systems that multiply restoration in their communities. The lessons learned in the HLE extend far beyond the individual. They take root in organizations, families, and societal systems, bringing sustainable change that reflects the love and truth of Christ.
One story of transformation is found in Colombia, where Haggai Leader Daniel Ramirez demonstrates how the principles of the HLE can ripple through entire systems of influence. In Colombia, where religious freedom is legally protected but often tested, especially in rural regions where Protestant believers face challenges, Daniel’s mission carries a great weight. Through his work helping clients design and implement strategies for business transformation and sustainable growth, he bridges professional expertise with faith. His vision is clear: to restore truth and spiritual life in a society often distant from God.
Daniel’s faith extends beyond his professional life. As a member of his church’s Elders Board and Finance Committee, he advocates for initiatives that connect with people who feel detached from traditional expressions of faith. He also plays a role in strengthening missionary efforts among Colombia’s diverse ethnic groups. In addition, through his voluntary work with an international Christian NGO board, he contributes to humanitarian and social development strategies and actions that support the most vulnerable children, families, and communities, ensuring that every effort reflects the love and example of Christ.
Teaching has become one of Daniel’s most impactful ways to multiply influence. For the past 10 years, he has led the subject “Discipline and Integrity of the Leader to Evangelize,” reaching more than 500 leaders across Colombia. One participant, an executive at one of the nation’s largest banks, shared how deeply the class had influenced him. Inspired, he developed a similar seminar for the bank’s first and second-level managers. With Daniel’s support, the content included biblical principles and the Gospel message. Several attendees heard about Jesus for the first time and discovered how faith could bring purpose to their professional lives. With the help of Daniel and several other members of the Haggai Alumni Association in Colombia, during the last 10 years, they have trained and equipped around 1000 leaders to advance the Gospel in their own spheres of influence
Additionally, Daniel’s ministry touches individuals on a personal level. In 2015, one of his childhood friends was struggling with emotional and financial challenges that strained his family relationships. Having faced his own battles with anxiety and depression, Daniel offered support and encouragement. Through their conversations, his friend encountered God’s love and began attending church. Over time, his life and family were restored, and both he and his wife came to faith in Jesus. Today, they serve together in their church’s couples ministry and continue to share their testimony of hope. More recently, Daniel has been actively participating also in his church as a part of the pastoral support and accompaniment group that helps men of his community in their Christian walk.
Reflecting on his journey, Daniel credits the Haggai Leader Experience with reshaping his purpose. “Since attending the HLE in 2014, I have intentionally aligned everything I do toward helping others know and follow Jesus,” he says. “That is my passion.” Daniel Ramirez’s story reminds us that restoration does not end with personal transformation. Through the power of the Gospel and the HLE framework, leaders like Daniel are creating systems and communities that reflect God’s truth. What begins in one heart grows into a legacy of faith, integrity, and renewal that can transform a nation.

Jesus was the same wherever he went because he carried God’s DNA in him. May we that say we are of God allow God’s DNA be made alive in our mortal body so that wherever we are, whatever we do, we are the living gospel in Jesus name amen. So that God’s DNA will help us overcome the world’s system of evil and wickedness. May God help us all, amen.
