SREEDHAR SUBRAMANIAM

V.P. EQUIPPING

“I am grateful to be able to finish well through this ministry by speaking into every sphere of a nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through leaders we equip. There is never a moment I do not hear of souls being added into the kingdom through the work of one of our Haggai Leaders across the globe. It is truly not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (ref: Zechariah 4:6).”

What is your role and what are your responsibilities at Haggai?

As Vice President, Equipping, I am responsible for overseeing the Haggai Leader Experience and the Mid Pacific Center operations to equip strategically positioned leaders to more effectively demonstrate and present the gospel of Jesus Christ, and train others to do the same.

How does working at Haggai help you fulfill your personal life’s mission and or goals?

In 1983 I attended my first missions conference while attending university in Toronto. From the study of the Book of Nehemiah, I was inspired to meet the need for man to be reconciled with God. I got involved in personal witnessing and ministries reaching many with the gospel. Now, at Haggai, I am privileged to equip leaders from more than 100 countries to fulfill Jesus’ last command of making disciples and training others. It is so fulfilling to see many communities and nations being redeemed and transformed by God through this ministry.

Highlight your previous work experience.

Prior to joining Haggai International in 2016, I was in corporate Malaysia for 30 years. Almost half of this was in management consulting specializing in corporate strategy, change management, financial and privatization consulting services for Governments and companies operating in a wide spectrum of industries. The remaining years was in senior management positions within the media, business process outsourcing and information services industries. While in the business sphere, I also served as a Church Deacon (Missions) and Hon. Secretary of the Church Board, Regional Coordinator – Austral Asia for the ALERT Cadet ministry (Christian uniformed group for fathers and sons) and joined the Haggai Institute Alumni Association of Malaysia and served as National Board Member, Facilitator and Resident Coordinator.

What additional information would you like to share about yourself?

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University. My personal discovery and life journey with Jesus Christ can be found at sreejourney.blogspot.com. I met my wife, Lee Yen, in church and we served together in various ministries, including local and foreign missions. We got married in 1991 after a short courtship and knowing each other for 5 years. We are blessed with 4 children including 3 adult children that are in the spheres of medicine, communications and actuary. The theme verse of my life since the age of 17 is Matthew 6:33.
