LEE CUNNINGHAM

CHIEF INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS OFFICER

Lee joined Haggai International on July 8, 2019 to assist CEO Dr. Bev Williams in developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives. He comes to Haggai from the North American Mission Board, where he served as the Director of Events and Digital Marketing.

God impacted Lee’s life in a powerful way while he was studying Civil Engineering at Clemson University. With no prior leadership experience of any kind, Lee was asked to be the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), the largest student organization on campus. That year became a “burning bush” experience, creating in Lee both a passion for being involved in Kingdom work and a trust in God’s sovereignty and power working through him. As a result, for the next 10 years, God allowed Lee to continue living in Clemson, investing in the lives of student leaders who were involved in FCA.

Lee’s path has taken him from the construction and real-estate development industry to being one of the founding pastors of a church plant, through several entrepreneurial ventures, to living and serving with a ministry in Belo Horizonte Brazil, and most recently to Atlanta with the North American Mission Board. Through it all, God has given him continual opportunities to help both people and organizations become better at what they do.

Lee is a native of Greenville SC, where both his parents and his younger brother’s family reside. He is an avid reader and lifelong learner who enjoys water sports, live music, and new experiences. In March of 2020, Lee married Holly Mattingly and began an exciting new chapter with her and her two adult children, Wylie and Sutton.
