Scott joins Haggai International with more than 19 years of experience in not-for-profit advancement. The last nine years he held the position of Executive Director of the Holland Home Foundation. In 2016 the Foundation received the Excellence in Fund Raising Award from the Association of Fund-Raising Professionals under his leadership. During his career Scott has led fund raising efforts that have raised more than $70 million.

Before joining Holland, Scott served in advancement at the Pine Rest Foundation and the Metro Health Hospital Foundation. Early in his career he worked as a Registered Nurse for 12 years at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services.

Scott is engaged in serving his church, community, and his profession. He has served as Vice President and President for the West Michigan Planned Giving Group and Cutlerville Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Barnabas Foundation, Administration Team at Cornerstone Church, Chaired Advancement Team of Cornerstone Church and Chair of Deacons at Immanuel Reformed Church. Scott currently serves on the board of Exalta Health, Cornerstone Advancement Team. Scott and his wife currently serve in a variety of roles in ministry at Cornerstone Church.

Scott currently resides in Grand Rapids Michigan with his wife of 30 years and their twin 20-year-old sons. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, being a fan of Michigan State University Basketball and Notre Dame Football.

Scott says, “I feel called to be part of the ministry of Haggai International. It is an honor and privilege to be part of the mission dedicated to ending Gospel poverty!”
