Jamey comes to the Haggai International advancement team with over 25 years of nonprofit and higher education development experience. He serves as the director of advancement for the newly formed Eastern Atlantic region. In this role, Jamey will be responsible for fundraising in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Tennessee as well as parts of Georgia and Alabama.

Jamey served most recently as chief operating officer at Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA). Before becoming COO, Jamey served CMDA as vice president for stewardship and development. Additionally, Jamey was senior vice president for ministry advancement for Precept Ministries International from 2007 to 2014. Earlier in his career, he served as the assistant vice president for development, Health Sciences Division, at East Tennessee State University and worked with U.S. Senator Bill Frist, M.D., as senior field representative throughout Northeast Tennessee.

Jamey is excited to be part of the Haggai International team and carries out his work with a philosophy that the giver is always more important than the gift, and that the organization is simply a conduit through which Haggai’s life-giving partners can accomplish their ministry goals.

Jamey lives in Elizabethton, Tennessee, with his wife, Janeen. They have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. When not working, you will likely find Jamey and Janeen on a baseball or football field somewhere, cheering on their grandsons!
