Haggai leader Maria Nunes has found an innovative way of reaching Brazil’s young people.
“Nowadays, getting a job in Brazil requires knowledge of English. But the courses are very expensive. We have an English language project for students in the neighborhood of the church. Last year, we ran two courses in different age groups for an average of 400 people. Both were sold out.”
In a recent presentation, the students told the story of the English language from England and sang Gospel songs.
“The majority of the students,” she says, “are non-believers. We will need a bigger space for the next year and will create new partnerships. I am attentive to the call to raise the stakes and enlarge my tent – because it is all about Him!
