Kuaretta Lawrence joined the Haggai International advancement team as executive assistant to the chief development officer. For the past 25 years, Kuaretta has worked for major corporations, gaining skills and experience in telecommunications technology and the global digital industries. Most recently, she was the executive assistant to the CEO of a division of General Electric. Among her strong skill sets are organization, process improvement, and event planning.

Kuaretta received her Bachelor of Arts degree in theology from Luther Rice University in Lithonia, Georgia. She also fulfilled a chaplaincy internship at Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This residency awarded her the opportunity to provide emotional and spiritual support for patients and their families and friends, during patient room visits, emergency room traumas, and loss of life situations.

Kuaretta is a native of Athens, Georgia, and is married to Reverend John K. Lawrence, the former Pastor of Christian Faith Tabernacle in Conyers, Georgia, and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, Georgia. Their current devotion is New Life Empowerment and Outreach Ministries, a virtual space that grants the opportunity to minister effectively beyond the interior walls of a church.

Kuaretta’s ministry background also includes Bible study teacher, conference speaker, marriage ministry, and street witness outreach. Kuaretta was the founder of a weekly women’s fellowship which rendered spiritual guidance and encouragement to women and children. She founded Restored Faith, a ministry committed to feeding the homeless community of Atlanta. She also was the writer and editor of “A Healthier You,” a monthly newsletter with articles, quotes, games, and testimonials designed to encourage abundant health.

Kuaretta has one daughter who resides in Athens, Georgia, with her husband and seven children. Kuaretta resides in Duluth, Georgia. Her hobbies are reading, golf, painting, and fellowship with family and friends.
